Thank you Bay Area for joining the American Cancer Society's fight against breast cancer. Thirty-thousand walkers and 600 volunteers, came together at the San Francisco and San Jose Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk to express their hope for a breast cancer free future. With the support of your generous donors, we have raised just over $1,000,000.
Help us reach our goal of $1.1 million and continue to make an impact on the fight against breast cancer.
- Keep on fundraising! Make a $25.00 donation online during the first two (2) weeks of November and you will automatically be entered into a raffle to win a special, delicious, prize from Edible Arrangements, on Stevens Creek Boulevard. Only online donations with credit card will grant donor an entry into the raffle. Please remember that all of the money raised through Making Strides helps people stay well, get well, find cures, and fight back.
- Celebrate survivors and thank your team or donors at the 2nd annual Turning the Tables on Breast Cancer event. Dine at one of the participating restaurants and see 15-25% of your meal contributed to Making Strides. It’s a delicious and fun way to continue the mission of the American Cancer Society.

MAKING STRIDES SAVES LIVES
The Bay Area Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event is a noncompetitive walk that unites people of all ages with the common goal to fight breast cancer and save lives. Breast cancer has touched all of our lives, and Making Strides gives us the power to fight back and make a difference.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer has no registration fee and no fundraising minimum. However, we hope that you will use the fun and easy-to-use online tools to build a team and raise money; your support will allow the American Cancer Society to continue to help people stay well, get well, find cures and fight back against breast cancer.
