Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Hope Starts Here... In 2005, more than 400,000 participants in 100 cities across the country joined the American Cancer Society in our united fight against breast cancer. Together we raised more than $34 million to help fight this disease. More than just the name of an event, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer refers to the vital progress the American Cancer Society has made through research, education, advocacy, and patient services. Because of people like you, patients, survivors, and their families will continue to benefit from the Society's critical programs. Whether it is your first Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk or your tenth, we are happy you have chosen the American Cancer Society. We look forward to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer ...with you!

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer has no registration fee and no fundraising minimum. The walks range in distance from five kilometers (3.1 miles) to five miles and everyone is invited to participate. Join the American Cancer Society to help continue to making strides toward a world where no one has to suffer from the disease.
